Makiko’s Origami inspiration comes from her day to day life. She loves imagining what conversations the animals would have. What if she could read the plant's mind? She likes to add a story behind the origami that would make people smile. Makiko's origami journey all started from taking part in 100 Days Project Scotland in 2020 where she had completed the ''Lockdown Origami Diary'', and the ''Origami Flags'' in 2021.
